JOBS AT NORDIE

Chef

We are hiring for a chef to come work with us at Nordie. The hours available are estimated 30-35 per week. Availability is required between Wednesday & Sunday each week with service days taking place between Thursday evening & Sunday.

The position would suit a CDP or junior sous. We would like someone who is driven, wants to learn and get involved in more of the preparation & cooking side of the kitchen. The candidate will be working along side the head chef & owner.

Duties will include;

  • Pot washing and maintaining a clean kitchen

  • Assisting in the food preparation process

  • Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes

  • Preparing vegetables, meats and fish

  • Assisting other Chefs

  • Helping with deliveries and restocking

  • Assisting with stock rotation

  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
